Working with the COVID-19 Evidence Support Team

Saskatchewan Library Week is October 17-23, 2021. Due to the current burdens on the healthcare system, we are postponing our planned digital scavenger hunt until a later date when SHA physicians, clinicians, employees, and affiliates can enjoy it.

Many may not know that the SHA Library has been helping to monitor and curate emerging literature and evidence to support the COVID-19 Evidence Support Team (CEST).

A team of experts (librarians, researchers, and clinician experts) have been working together since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to provide a synthesis of available evidence to system decision makers around a wide range of topics. The SHA Library staff have been critical members of the team from the inception; without their expertise we would not have been able to support system leaders with well over 100 rapid reviews to date, all readily available on a central repository created by them.

Everyone can access the COVID repository and searchable database of rapid reviews and evidence search reports. More information on the CEST is available here.
