Trouble Accessing Lexicomp Desktop?

If you are getting a message "Lexicomp Account Expired," there are a couple of things you can do to correct this:

  • Clear your browsing history.
  • Make sure you are using the current link from the SHA Library website. You may be using an outdated link from another source (e.g. departmental web page, desktop shortcut, bookmarks).

To clear your browsing history, follow these steps:

  • Google Chrome
    • Open Google Chrome
    • Click the options menu ('3 dots' icon in the top right corner)
    • Select "History" and then "History" again
    • Click "Clear browsing data" then "Clear data." Ensure the time range is set to "All time" and the 3 options below are un-checked
    • Click "clear data"

  • Internet Explorer
    • Open Internet Explorer
    • Click "Safety" in the top right toolbar
    • Click "Delete Browsing History"
    • Check off all boxes (except passwords)
    • Uncheck “Preserve favorite websites and data"
    • Click "delete"
