What is a TDNet Account?

Have you asked us to set up table of contents alerts for new journal issues?  Then the Library staff would have created a TDNet account for you.

You are also able to manage your own account in TDNet if you are interested.   You can add or remove journals for your journal alerts as well as save searches, add bookmarks for journals or items in the Discover tab.  Contact us for your username and password.

  • Open TDNet
  • Click on Log in located in the top right corner of the page
  • Enter your email address and password
  • Click on My Journal Alerts to see your current list of journals that are set up for table of contents (TOC) alerts
  • If you would like to remove a title, click on the red x next to the title
  • To add new titles, search for a title and click on Activate Journal Alert or Bookmark (some titles don't provide a table of contents)
  • If you are doing a search in the Discover tab, you can bookmark an item or save your search by clicking on the orange star in the search box

Important Information:

TDNet deletes accounts after 1 year of inactivity which is in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).   Inactivity refers to logging into the account.   So by simply logging in, your account will stay active for another year and you will continue to receive table of contents. TDNet will send out an email notification 30 days before deleting the account.   When you receive that email please make sure you login to your account which will also give you a chance to review the journals you have currently set up for an alert.

Please note:  Looking at the TOC alerts email and clicking on an article link DOES NOT reactivate your TDNet account since that doesn't require you to log into your TDNet account.
