DynaMed App

Access the desktop version of DynaMed to create an account.
Click on the person icon in the top-right of the screen and then "Create Account."  Note: there is no option to create an account in the app. If you already have an account for Dynamic Health, you can use the same one.

An account is required in order to access DynaMed from any device at any time, to follow topics and updates, and to claim CME credits. If you are not interested in these features, you can still use the app without an account.

To download the app:

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Play Store
  2. Open the app and tap "I Accept" at the bottom of the Terms of Use.
  3. Choose one of two options for authentication:
    • Sign In: Select the "Sign In" option and tap the orange button. Then enter the email address and password for your DynaMed account. (Note: if you already have an account with Dynamic Health, you can sign in with the same username and password).
    • Institutional Network: Some Wi-Fi connections such as the RQHR Wi-Fi in Regina will work with this option. You can select this option by tapping the orange 'Authenticate' button (note: this option won't allow you to set up topic alerts or obtain CME credits).
  4. Select one of three options for how much storage space the app will use on your device (note: you can change this at any time in the app by going to Settings):
    • Online Only: You must have an Internet connection to use the app.
    • Partial Install: You can use the app without an Internet connection except for accessing images.
    • Full Install: All content in the app is accessible without an Internet connection.

Note: Every 3 months you will need to renew your access by repeating step 3 of these instructions.
