DynaMed App

Accessing the Mobile App Content:

  • To access content on this mobile app you need to create a personal account on the DynaMed website
  • There is no option to create an account in the mobile app

Creating a Personal DynaMed Account

  1. Go to the DynaMed website
  2. Click on the person icon in the top-right corner
  3. Click on create account in the drop-down menu
  4. Enter your email, create a password and complete the rest of the form to create an account

Downloading Instructions

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Play Store
  2. Open the DynaMed mobile app on your device
  3. Sign into the mobile app using one of the following two options:
     
    • Sign In: click and sign-in with the same email and password for your DynaMed account
    • Institutional Network (for select SHA WiFi connections only): click and tap Authenticate

       
  4. Select one of the following three installation options and click Continue
    :
    • Online Only: to download the app only (internet connection required to access content)
    • Partial Install: to download the app with text and thumbnails (internet connect required to access images) 
    • Full Install: to download the app with all content (no internet connection required to access content)

Notes:  

  • You can change the options selected in Step 4 by going to Settings in the mobile app​​​​
  • Users need to renew their accounts on the DynaMed mobile app every three months. Repeat Step 3 in the downloading instructions to do so.
  • Your personal account allows you to access DynaMed site and mobile app from any device.
  • You can also use your account to claim CE credits, follow different topics and receive other updates.

  • Includes Overviews and Recommendations on each topic

  • Accessible onsite, offsite and mobile
  • Mobile version resides on device
