RxFiles Plus App

To download the RxFiles Plus app:

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Play Store
  2. Using your mobile device, go to the desktop version of RxFiles. You need to use this link to be recognized as an SHA user. https://shal.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://www.rxfiles.ca/
  3. Tap the link that says 'Activate IOS/Android App'. It can be found on most devices by scrolling to the bottom of the screen. On some devices it might appear inside a box near the top right corner of the screen.  Make sure you have downloaded the app before clicking the Activate link.
  4. The app will then open automatically and finish authenticating. If you get asked for a username and password then you can bypass this by either selecting the 'Use Trial Mode' button or hitting 'Cancel' in the top right corner. Don't enter any username or password.
  5. Text at the bottom of the screen will indicate that the app is unlocked from a verified IP until a specific date. That is the date your access will expire..

Note: Your access will expire after 3 months and you will need to renew your access by repeating steps 2-4 in these instructions.

If you are connected to the RQHR Wi-Fi, this is an easier way to install the app.

To download the RxFiles Plus app:

  1. Connect your mobile device to the RQHR Wi-Fi.
  2. Download the app from the App Store or Play Store (make sure it is 'RxFiles+').

  4. Text at the bottom of the screen will indicate that the app is unlocked from a verified IP until a specific date. This is the date your access will expire.

Note: The app will continuously list an end date 3 months in the future as long as you are connected to the RQHR Wi-Fi. If you aren't able to access the RQHR Wi-Fi, then it will expire after 3 months and you can renew your access by following the steps in the 'Instructions' tab.
