Installing the RxTx App

  1. Click on this link to open up a PDF: http://shal.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://shirpaccess.usask.ca/system/files/RxTx_Mobile-Directions.pdf. If you are not using a SHA networked computer or the RQHR Wi-Fi then you will be prompted to enter your barcode (contact us to request a barcode).
  2. In the PDF, you will find another link and an Organization Code. Click on that link, enter the code, and click "Continue". 
  3. Enter your email address and click "Continue".
  4. Enter your personal information and create a password to finish creating your account login.
  5. Download the RxTx Mobile app from the App Store or Play Store.
  6. Log into the app with your email and password (note: your email address is your username).
  7. Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions and click "Continue".
  8. Decide whether you want to use your personal data to download the content. This is not recommended unless you have an unlimited data plan on your device. 
  9. Select your language and tap the "save" button in the top-right corner. 
  10. Select "Download" to finish downloading the content in the app. Don't exit the app until it finishes downloading. This may take a few minutes.
